Going Home
The woman smiles when she finishes telling the story. I thank her and walk away much richer now than the $25 I spent. The story makes me think about what is behind the art forms I have been photographing. I put a new roll of film in my camera and open my senses to feel the richness hidden in what I see.

| It is hard to leave Cuba--I feel like I wasted so much time looking at things but not really seeing them. I look out the airplane window as the plane flies away. | ![]() |
