TRACK 1
Participants will receive an introduction to SPSS and an overview of basic statistical tools useful for conducting research on college students. Computer lab sessions will allow participants to use an existing longitudinal database on college students to recode and transform data and to perform and interpret descriptive analysis using Astin’s I-E-O framework. Individuals need little or no experience with SPSS.
TRACK 2
Participants will receive a brief overview of SPSS and basic statistical tools and will then move into multiple regression analysis using CIRP data and Astin’s I-E-O model. Computer lab sessions will allow participants to use an existing longitudinal database on college students to perform and interpret descriptive and multiple regression analyses. Participants will also learn how CIRP data can be used to estimate campus retention rates. Individuals need some familiarity with SPSS and basic knowledge of regression analysis.
   
     
STEP 3: SELECT LODGING REQUIREMENT AND CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT DATE
No lodging needed.
