The thirty-ninth annual report of national normative
data on the characteristics of students attending colleges and universities as first-time,
full-time freshmen. This series, initiated in Fall 1966, is a project of the Cooperative
Institutional Research Program (CIRP), a continuing longitudinal study of the American
higher education system sponsored by the American Council on Education (ACE) and the
Graduate School of Education & Information Studies at the University of California,
Los Angeles.
