This course is a broad introduction to
the field of education and educational research, and is
required of all first-year doctoral students in the
department. PSE students should enroll in my section.

Psychology (Winter 2004)
Introduction to major psychological
theories of learning and cognitive development and their
application to teaching, for students in the
Teacher
Education Program.
Theory and practice of the design of
technology-supported learning environments. Examines how
theories of learning guide the design and enactment of
learning environments in classrooms and informal settings,
and how research on such environments informs theory and
design.
ED433B - Development of Educational
Media (Spring 2004)
This course follows ED433A an allows
students to build a prototype educational media application
or curriculum that uses an existing application.
