Research Interests

Discriminatory testing, psychodiagnostic assessment practices, issues related to the techniques and processes of counseling and psychotherapy.

Teaching Interests

Courses in counseling psychology with an emphasis on educational/psychological assessment, counseling theory and evaluation.

Current Academic Year Courses

ED 214A - Couseling Theory and Practice. This course emphasizes the application of counseling theories and practices and their implementation in fostering the development of colleges students. Offered in Fall 2003.

ED 216 -Multicultural Counseling. This course focuses on an analysis of the professional-type cultural, ethnic, and gender diversity issues in Counseling and Student Affairs. Offered in Winter 2004.

ED 213D -Assessment in Counseling and Student Affairs. This course examines the major assessment procedures plus methods used to deliver and evaluate students and student affairs programs in colleges and universities. Offered in Spring 2004.
