- Asian American Studies Center Reading Room at UCLA. http://www.sscnet.ucla.edu/aasc/reading_room/index.html - Asian American Studies Center Reading Room houses the most extensive archive on Asians and Pacific Islanders in the nation. With its holding of over 5,000 books and monographs, 30 Asian Pacific ethnic and regional newspapers, over 300 community and campus newsletters, and 5,000 pamphlets, it serves as a valuable resource for scholars and students seeking information on Asian Pacific Americans
The Reading Room welcomes community users, and is open during the academic year, from 10:00am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, and by appointment only during the summer months. Location: 2230 Campbell Hall, UCLA.

- Asian Pacific Resource Center of L.A. County Public Library http://www.colapublib.org/libs/montebello/asian.html - The Asian Pacific Resource Center (APRC) was established in 1979 to serve the information needs of Asian Pacific people and to make information about these groups available to the greater community. English language materials focus on the history, accomplishments and cultural heritage of people from China, Japan, Korea, the Philippines and Vietnam. - Oviatt Library, CSUN http://library.csun.edu - The highlights of CSUN library are the Old Chinese Archive and Tseng Family antique collection. The Old China Hands Archive (http://library.csun.edu/oldchinahands/) was established in the fall of 1996 to preserve and publicize the heritage of the many people from other countries and cultures who resided and worked in China. The Archive is located in the Special Collections and Archives Department of the University Library at California State University, Northridge. In the year of 2003, CSUN library received the generous Chinese antique donation from Tseng family. - The California Ethnic and Multicultural Archives, also known as CEMA, is a division of the Special Collections Department of the University Libraries at the University of California, Santa Barbara. CEMA is a permanent program that advances scholarship in ethnic studies through its varied collections of primary research materials. These unique collections document the lives and activities of African Americans, Asian/Pacific Americans, Chicanos/Latinos, and Native Americans in California.

- Digital Archive of USC http://digarc.usc.edu:8089/cispubsearch/ - The Digital Archive of the Archival Research Center provides access to over 100,000 photographs, maps, manuscripts, records, texts, and sound recordings owned by USC and collaborating institutions. The archive currently collect 1,456 items of Chinese Historical Society , 439 items of Japanese American collection and 13,395 items of Korean American Relocation collection. All but Korean American Private Records and t he Japanese American Relocation are physically located in the East Asian Library of the Archival Research Center, USC.

Rudolph East Asian Library was established in 1948 to support the University's teaching and research programs in East Asian Studies. - Go for Broke Educational Foundation http://www.goforbroke.org/ - a nonprofit with educational programs about the history of the Japanese American veterans of World War II.
- Japanese Relocation Camp Collection. This collection is located at the Gardena Mayme Dear Memorial Library (http://www.colapublib.org/libs/gardena/ ). The materials are in both microfilm and paper format. There are about 100 theses and 80 newspaper and periodical titles dealing specifically with the World War II internment camp experience. - Southeast Asian Archives, UCI http://www.lib.uci.edu/libraries/collections/sea/sasian.html - The Archive collects materials relating to the resettlement of Southeast Asian refugees and immigrants in the United States (and to a lesser extent, worldwide), the boat people and land refugees, and the culture and history of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. There is a special focus on materials pertaining to Southeast Asians in Orange County and California. Holdings are in English and in Southeast Asian languages (primarily Vietnamese), and include books, refugee orientation materials, government documents, reports and surveys, periodicals, journal articles, newspaper clippings, video and audio recordings, ephemera, personal and institutional papers.
