Areas of Interest & Honors

Professor Chu specializes in multicultural library and information services, information seeking behavior, and critical information studies. Her other research interests include multicultural education, organization of information, international and comparative information services, and transnational ethnic studies (see Chinese in/from Latin America website or coloniachina wiki site)

  • “Movers & Shakers 2005: The People Who are Shaping the Future of Libraries,” Library Journal, March 15, 2005. Chu is noted as a change agent in this 4th annual feature of up-and-coming individuals from across the US and Canada who are innovative, creative, and making a difference.
