Bush Turns to Big Military Contractors for Border Control - New York Times

for the Bush-Cheney Gang, every national crisis is an opportunity to fill the coffers of their corporate friends and allies; they did this after 9/11, in the Iraq invasion, put Karl Rove in charge of contracts after Katrina and gave Halliburton et al juicy contracts until anger forced Rove to back off and then the Bush Gang just lost interest in new orleans, and now they want to do it with immigration and the border. The NYT article is a good expose of past failures by high-tech companies to come up with viable technologies for border patrol so it looks like another big heist is in the making....
