Statistics Software
Stata will be used for all class examples. Stata datasets will be available over the Internet.
All the procedures and techniques needed for the 230B assignments are available in Stata.
Stata is available in a number of computer labs on campus.
It is possible to do all of the assignments using SAS, although SAS
has a much steeper learning curve than Stata. SPSS is another possibility, however
I am not as familiar with SPSS and will not be able to assist students using it for their
assignments.
