Gainesville College in Georgia administered a 1998 Needs Assessment Survey to local community leaders and high school administrators in order to understand the perceptions and attitudes about the college. The gathered information was used by decision-makers across campus for improving the college's offerings and services. One set of suggestions addressed what the college can do to improve its attractiveness to prospective students:
