Community College Enrollments

The total national student enrollment in community colleges is reported to be 5,440,533, which is 44 percent of all U.S. undergraduates. Enrollment in California community colleges, more than twice that of any other state, accounts for nearly one-fifth the national total student enrollment. The ten states with the largest community college student enrollments are:
