Comparative national financial statistics can assist a two-year college in preparing a meaningful analysis of how its financial and operational performance compares to other two-year colleges. The following median revenues and expenditures per credit FTE for fiscal year 1993-1994 were derived from a study of 427 public community colleges across the nation:
