Memoria, voz, y patrimonio: The First Conference on Latino/Hispanic Film, Print and Sound Archives will highlight the importance of archives and record keeping which are essential for the Latino community to document and protect its rights, to capture its collective memory, and to ensure access to its cultural past, achievements and legacy.

  • Conference Participants: WELCOME/BIENVENIDOS!
    We look forward to your participation in what will be an exciting and informative conference. Registration starts on Friday, August 15th at noon in the GSE&IS Building, Commons Room (see map) and continues on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 8:00 a.m., at entrance of Room 1200, Rolfe Hall. For speakers and moderators, please meet 15 minutes prior to your session at your designated presentation room (see conference program) for final preparations and testing of equipment.     Paul Espinoza
    Award winning filmaker and producer based in San Diego who has been involved with producing education films and documentaries for 20 years. Among the awards won by Espinosa's programs are seven Emmys; five CINE Golden Eagle awards; two Ohio State Awards; a Golden Mike Award; two Blue Ribbons and a Red Ribbon from the American Film Festival; and  Best of the Festival awards from many national and international festivals.
