Admissions Criteria

The ELP faculty consider the following elements in evaluating applicants for admission:

At least three years of professional experience in education or an
educational related field.

Full-time employment in education or in a related field.

Leadership experience and leadership potential.

The ability to succeed in group settings.

Strong analytical, writing and speaking skills.

GRE Scores with scores of at least 500 on the verbal section & at least 500 on the quantitative section. An analytical score of 4.5 (all score
standards are flexible).

Three Strong letters of recommendation.

At least a 3.0 junior/senior GPA.

Goals that are consistent with those of the program.

Faculty also consider diversity of experience and balance in a cohort in terms of professional experience in K-12 or post secondary education.

Paper applications no longer exist for the Educational Leadership Program. Applicants must use the university's online application site.
