Research interests
Youngok is interested in the quality of child care settings and its influence on the development of children in poverty. Her research interests include family risk factors in child development, evaluations of early education programs, assessments of child’s cognitive, social, math, and literacy development, emergent literacy development of Latino children, and the influence of family and child care characteristics on child development.
